Sacramental Life
To obtain Baptism Certificates
and other Sacramental Certificates
call the parish office 468-8734 ext 100 or email Baptism
Certificate Request
Secretaries will need: the full name of the individual, birth date and
the approximate date of sacrament.
Please allow at least two business day to process your request.
You can pick up the
Certificate during normal buisness hours in the Parish Office or it
can be mailed to your residence or the church that needs the certificate.

Baptism:
To baptize an infant, an initial interview and a Baptism Prep Session will be provided previous to Baptism.
Contact one of the Pastoral Team members. Baptism for an adult or anyone over
the age of seven see topics RCIA & RCIC.
Eucharist:
First Eucharist is usually prepared for and received during level 2 of Faith
Formation classes.
One making their First Eucharist must first have participated in the Sacrament
of Baptism.
Older children and adults must consult the Faith Formation Office on the
requirements to prepare for the sacrament.
Reconciliation (Confession):
First Reconciliation is ordinarily prepared for and received during
Level 2 of Faith Formation classes.
Any one making their First Reconciliation must first have participated in the
Sacrament of Baptism.
Older children, if baptized, must consult the Faith Formation Office on
the requirements to prepare for the sacrament.
RCIC (Right of Christian Initiation for Children):
Unbaptised children of catechetical age (7 years-old) and over, are enrolled
in the RCIC process where they will be fully initiated - Baptism, First Eucharist
and Confirmation - at the Easter Vigil. This process is in addition to regular
attendance at Faith Formation classes. Arrangements are made with the Director,

RCIA (Right of Christian Initiation for Adults):
Unbaptised adults are enrolled in the RCIA process where they will be fully
initiated -- Baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation -- at the Easter Vigil.
Arrangements are made with the Director of Faith Formation, Sr. Kathy Onderbeke, IHM. See
contact information above in RCIC.
Confirmation:
Confirmation is celebrated by High School Freshmen who have completed the
required Levels of Faith Formation and the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist
and Reconciliation. Preparation of adults in need of Confirmation will be provided
on an individual basis. Confirmation is celebrated once a year by a bishop.

Matrimony/ Weddings:

Any couple wishing to enter into the sacrament of Matrimony must first have
Parish Membership, meet with Father Larry Pettke or Deacon Don Junak, complete
a Pre-Marriage inventory (PMI) and participate in Pre-Marriage Classes. Ardiocesan policy requires a period of six
months from the initial interview to the wedding date.
